Who said rainy days are boring

It's a gloomy day today. As I look outside the window, the rain seems to fall endlessly. Strangely enough, the neighbor across the street is having their tree cut down with the help of some hired workers. As the tree is tilted towards the side, critters and birds escape before the tree can do any harm to them.

It resembles how the economy works around here. If you don't play the game right, this could happen to your own home. As I was still looking outside, one of the worker's eyes catches mine. As he's attempting to cross the street, a car comes of from the side, hitting him from the pelvis first. Then his head hits the windshield. The car stops and the force pushes the man off the car, causing him to roll on the wet pavement unconscious and bleeding.
